Thank you for visiting our site and booking our services! We know it has been a while since we have communicated with you, but unfortunately information from the County of Santa Clara has been impossible to get, and we were not able to coordinate or communicate our reopening with any certainty. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences you suffered.

Thank you for your support while we have been closed! We want you to know that your patronage of our Go Fund Me page has made a difference in our very survival as a business. Further, thank you for your bookings – we appreciate the opportunity to provide our services to you in a safe and healthy environment!

As we reopen our services, our business operations are going to be different. This is due to guidance from the state of California and the county of Santa Clara, as well as a healthy respect for the terrible impact the virus has on a small percentage of our friends and neighbors. It is our intention to do our part to protect our clients, and that small percentage of our friends and neighbors adversely affected by the virus.

Some of the new business practices include:

  • All of our employees shall wear face covering and face shields. We ask that you wear a face covering during your appointment. Our staff has been training on how to make this work; however, some services may not be available at this time.

  • Checking in will be different. We invite you to come in when you get to our salon, but we will be asking you questions regarding any covid-19 exposure and ensuring you are covid-19 symptom free. Next, we will be handing you a pager and asking you to please wait in your car until called back in. (Note: Waiting outside is discouraged due to the proximity of other businesses in the immediate area.) While you are waiting in your car, we will be completing services with other scheduled clients and cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing as needed. When you come back in, we will invite you to use our hand sanitizer as a best practice.

  • The number of stylists and clients in the salon will be greatly reduced. Please come alone. You should expect to see every other chair (a total of 12’ physical distancing) throughout the salon. Unfortunately, this will severely impact the number of appointments available for booking.

  • Preferred payment will be through the Venmo app. As you have undoubtedly seen with other payment processes, it is difficult at best to process cash and credit cards in a “touchless” manner. Note: We will maintain the ability to process payment in all normal forms, and our stylists will still greatly appreciate your cash tips!

  • Training. While you may not see this aspect of the operations, we will continually be reviewing our operations and conducting training to ensure the safest and healthiest service possible. Our stylists have sought and achieved a number of certifications while we all have been in self-isolation.

We all need to work together to make this successful, and you are a huge part of that. All of our stylists are certified in proper sanitation techniques and safety protocol. You can help us maintain a healthy salon by doing the following:

  • If you are feeling sick or have been in contact with anyone who has recently been sick, please reschedule. Please give us as much notice as possible if you decide you cannot make it in.

  • Bring your own face covering – we have an extremely limited supply of extras for emergencies.

  • Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time to allow for check-in protocols.

  • Please adhere to social distancing as much as possible.

Much of this is going to feel a little different as we reopen – it will get better. Fortunately, our staff is largely unchanged, and we will at least be in familiar company.

Thank you.
